SGFC ATHLETICS SPORTS CLUB

SGFC Athletics established since 1999 in United States of America and played in the 3rd tier level before moving to Nigeria to continue in the Nationwide League One.

They focus on Player Development Programme (PDP) to give all player opportunity to develop their game both physically and mentally, the player progresses gradually from a simple to a more complex involvement in the game while keeping in mind both the importance of competition at a level that is challenging, demanding, rewarding, but most importantly fun to enhance the player’s love for the game.

They are the defending Champion of the Evolution Cup and will be looking to build on last year’s achievement, will SGFC Athletics reclaims the title this year.

ABRAYSPORTS FOOTBALL CLUB

Abraysports FC is a professional football outfit based in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Formerly based in Lagos State, the club was founded in 2015 and has won five major trophies from organized football competitions within Kwara State and Nigeria.

Driven by the need to provide opportunity for talented footballers, Abraysports FC have produced many players among whom is the Super Eagles striker, Rafiu Ishaq who is making waves with NK Maribor FC in the Slovenia league. This will be Abray Sports second appearance at the Evolution Cup.

BEYOND LIMITS FOOTBALL ACADEMY

Beyond Limits is the youth development program of Remo Stars Football Club playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League, this academy took center stage in 2016 after a pan Nigeria Football Tournament, Ijebu Ode in December 2015, they are two time champion of the creative championship league, Beyond Limits appear in their second Evolution Cup and will be looking to build on last year’s strong showing finishing Second, they lost narrowly on penalties on the Final Day.

HAMMOLA FOOTBALL CLUB

Hammola International Football Club based in Ido – Osun in Osun State, Nigeria, established in 2020 by a young Entrepreneur, immediately after the maiden edition of a Football Championship, organized by Grassroot Football Coaches Council in Osun State.

This Football team are winners of Osun State FA Cup 2022, Timi Agbale Egalitarian Soccer Championship 2022, Abiola Foundation Cup in Ifon Osun 2022 and was also crowned Champions of the 2022 Hammola Football Championship Third Edition. This year, they make their second appearance in the Evolution Cup.

STAR BUILDERS ACADEMY

Stars Builders Academy, established in 2020, and started operations in 2021 is a football academy dedicated towards developing the next generation of Nigeria Football Stars.

Despite being a relatively young football Academy, they have players called up to the National U17, U20, and U23 teams.

In 2022, they achieved major milestone by winning the Ogun State Football Association league in their very first attempt. Let’s see how they would make thier first time participation of the Evolution Cup count.

ROLLY FOOTBALL CLUB

Rolly FC is a Benin City, Edo State based Football Club, Founded in 2018 in Benin City. They play home games at the S&T Barracks, Isiohor, Benin City. The Lion’ as they are fondly called, competes in the Benin City Youth League and the Nigeria Nationwide League One.

The club has since inception traded some players outside the shores of the country amongst who are John Ejoor in Austria, Eghosa Bello who plays for Granada in Spain, Asata Friday of Licata Calcio FC of Italy and Marvelous Nketan in Latvia to mention but a few.

Rolly FC were the first Edo State team to participate in the Evolution Cup and will be making their second appearance this year.

Imperial Football Club

Imperial Football Club based in Odogbolu, Ogun State – Nigeria, Co -owned by former Super Eagles player Seyi Olofinjana and and Mr. Bankole Atiba is a football school where young players, hopefully future professionals train and learn to acquire the basics but essential skills and knowledge about the game, it’s challenges, expectations and goals. They are prepared adequately to deal with the challenges that come before, during and after a short but lucrative career.

Major goal of the club is helping the kids make the most of their God-given talents, eradicating the wasteful and non-profitable investment they often embark on in their formative years.

Imperial Football Club will always strive hard and give everything to ensure it produces a constant stream of fine professional footballers and upstanding decent young men.

This year, they make their first appearance in the Evolution Cup and will be hoping to bring their quality style of play to the tournament.
