Evolution Cup
The Evolution cup is a pre-season tournament that reconvenes 10 Nationwide League One (NLO) clubs and communities to come together for days of competitive fun, to develop and make progress, with their fellow club members and friends while practicing and preparing for the new season!
The Seven-day long competition will be played at the ultra-modern Remo Stars stadium at Ikenne, Ogun State with the objective being to attract over 1,500 spectators at each match venue.
The 10 participating clubs represent about 250 players who will be competing in 2 groups and playing more than 20 matches. Building on the success of the maiden edition, the tournament is expected to receive increased national exposure through various media channels such as newspaper and online news, TV and sports blogs, social media, and word of mouth.
All the matches will be Live Streamed with further live updates on Facebook and Twitter, plus daily Press releases for club fans and spectators.
